2022 Governor’s Scholar Applicants Announced
The Governor’s Scholarship Program is a highly competitive application process. Each year over 2000 students across Kentucky apply for the program. To be considered and selected for the program, students must have an outstanding academic profile that includes high difficulty of course load, GPA, and ACT score. Students must also demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities within their school and community service. Being selected for participation in the program is a great honor. You can learn more about the Governor’s Scholars Program at https://gsp.ky.gov/Pages/index.aspx/.
Laurel County had twenty-two applicants for the 2021-22 school year, and sixteen outstanding students were selected for the 2022 Governor’s Scholars Program. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishment.
