The London Laurel County Chamber of Commerce strives to keep the latest demographics and statistical data available for anyone who may need special information. The Board is comprised of fifteen Directors elected from our membership. The Board sets the policies which govern the operation and activities of the Chamber. Volunteer committees are established to accomplish the organization’s goals and objectives.
Activities of the Chamber are supported by a full-time professional staff which manages all Chamber operations. Most of the money necessary to maintain the Chamber’s office and carry on the activities of its committees comes from membership investments. These investments, paid annually, are apportioned among its members consisting of individuals, businesses, industries, and professionals. Since the Chamber is not a government agency, it does not receive tax support, although the City and County provide assistance through economic development funds.
