London – Laurel County Chamber of Commerce Announces Teacher of the Year Awards

London, KY – The London – Laurel County Chamber of Commerce held its annual banquet on Tuesday, May 10th at 6:00 p.m. at the London Community Center where they announced the 2022 recipients of the Teacher of the Year awards. Each year, the Chamber accepts nominations from students and parents for elementary school, middle school and high school teachers. Laurel County Farm Bureau sponsors the Teacher of the Year awards and provides a check in the amount of $1,000.00 to each winner.

The 2022 Teacher of the Year Award recipients were Mrs Millie Floyd – Elementary School Teacher of the Year (Hazel Green Elementary School), Mrs. Jo Anna Sizemore – Middle School Teacher of the Year (South Laurel Middle School), and Mrs. Samantha Kirby – High School Teacher of the Year (South Laurel High School). Congratulations to all the winners!
