CC&M Custom Cleaning & Maintenance
We are all aware of the current health scare and would like you to know that your local Chamber Member, Custom Cleaning & Maintenance, has been offering this service for years, and we know how to help your business prevent any illnesses from being spread. Custom Cleaning & Maintenance has the experience, the staff, the equipment and the chemicals needed to completely cover your building, including an EPA registered disinfectant that kills mold, bacteria, and viruses, including COVID-19, per CDC announcement on 3/12/2020. Also, our chemicals are odorless, colorless, will not harm water-safe fabrics and are safe for food-contact surfaces. Our advanced electrostatic sprayers provide an electrical charge to solutions, allowing them to wrap conductive surfaces with an effective and even coverage. This means that we can completely cover your building from top to bottom with a single spraying, and no cleanup is required, drying in 4-9 minutes!
If you would like to have a free quote, or have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us. Thank you and God bless.

Servpro
Due to the current threat of the Coronavirus, and other illnesses, I just wanted to reach out to let you know that we are trying to help the community by offering a discounted NEW service, to assist in being proactive regarding these sicknesses. We have had Several businesses (hospitals, clinics, schools, nursing homes, etc.) already contact us about this service, so I wanted to share it with you as well.
We recently acquired an Electric Static Sprayer, that we accompany with a special hospital-standard cleaning product (which the CDC is recommending). This approach is used to provide proactive cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting for a specific area, or building. We follow an industry-standard procedure, that reaches areas/crevices that cannot be seen or touched by human, thereby, prohibiting human error (whereby, a person is wiping down a surface/missing spots).
A lot of businesses are publicizing that that are taking preemptive measures to help control the spread of these viruses, in an effort to be safer for the public, and to calm their minds as well. So this is very beneficial for any building that has public traffic. There is no down-time for the buildings that we service, and it can be done on any day of the week/weekends, and at any hour you request (preferably after hours). This service is in extreme high demand, and there is only limited equipment so it’s basically a first come, first serve type of situation. For more information, contact Servpro:

Shoe Sensation
Our mission at Shoe Sensation is to provide quality and brand name footwear for the entire family. As our stores are in your home towns, the safety of our customers and our employees is our top priority as we navigate through the Covid-19 Global Pandemic. Some of our local stores are closed to the public, however there is a provision in some state’s orders that allow us to continue to provide items for essential personnel in healthcare, the service industry, and select industrial companies or factories producing such items.
Through the essential goods provision we are able to provide curbside pick-up at select stores. We can accept payment via credit card over the phone and can also deliver a larger order directly to your location. We are currently offering 20% off each pair of healthcare-appropriate shoes. You can browse our selection at https://www.shoesensation.com/healthcare-work-shoes.html.
Two ways to order: (1) Call your local Shoe Sensation and place your shoe order. Once you have arrived at Shoe Sensation, please call the store and allow 3-5 minutes for an employee to bring out your shoes. Please remain in your car to practice proper social distancing. (2) Place your order online at shoesensation.com. Choose your pick-up store location during step 1 of the checkout process. Wait for a confirmation email. We’ll let you know when your order is ready for pick-up. Depending on the item ordered, it may require a few days delivery time to the store. Drive to the store. Call the store number listed on your order confirmation when you have arrived at the store and we’ll bring your order out to you.
Please have a form of ID when picking up your order.
South Central Small Business Development Center
Many of you have been asking what help is available for small businesses. Here’s what we know right now:
Yesterday, Governor Andy Beshear submitted the Economic Injury Disaster Loan assistance declaration to the Kentucky SBA District office in order to access Disaster Assistance under the Corona-virus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act that was signed by the President.
This declaration enables Kentucky small businesses and non-profits to make a request for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL). Limited information is available online at: https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/disaster-assistance or you can contact the SBA disaster assistance customer service center at: Call 1-800-659-2955 (TTY: 1-800-877-8339) or e-mail disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. It may take up to 72 hours for the SBA to create the necessary forms and update the website to allow application.
As far as we know right now, these funds will only be available as loans up to $2 million at 3.75% with up to 30 year repayment term. There are no grants at this time. While waiting for the website to allow applications, I recommend that you prepare the documentation necessary to make application.
It’s important to understand that while EIDL loans can be a lifeline, they will take time to acquire and not all businesses will qualify. I highly recommend that you take action now to preserve cash and protect assets. Do the hard stuff first.
If you think South Central Kentucky Small Business Center can help, please contact me: rodney.kuhl@uky.edu or by phone at 606-454-7042.
