Local insurance company is seeking a Customer Service Representative with excellent communication skills who is detail oriented and organized. Your responsibilities will include working directly with customers and insurance companies to handle client needs efficiently and accurately. Daily duties include answering phone calls and emails, responding to client issues, filing, assisting clients with billing inquiries, claims, and policy changes. Attention to detail, accuracy and professionalism are required.
Applicants need to be comfortable with learning software, general office tasks, and have both verbal and written communication skills. All training and licensing requirements are paid for by the agency.
Needed Job Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Meticulous approach to administrative tasks.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with office technology and equipment, including email, printers, copiers, scanners, computers, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Creativity and strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong task and time management skills.
- Basic math abilities and an understanding of basic financial concepts.
- Professional appearance and courteous manner.
- Requires confidentiality of clients and agency information.
- Insurance experience is helpful but not required (on the job training will be provided).
- Office experience is preferred.
