How You Can Help Those in Need After Devastating Storms
Local Chamber family,
As we continue to pray for everyone impacted by the catastrophic storms, we know many of you want to help. The Kentucky Chamber is in communication and working closely with the Governor’s office to ensure the most coordinated effort. They have also been working with the U.S. Chamber, which has a hotline to provide direct support from disaster recovery efforts. Businesses and chambers can call 1-888-My-Biz-Help (888-692-4943) for direct support from disaster recovery experts.

MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS
The Governor has said there will be a Western Kentucky Relief Fund set up for monetary donations and as soon as that is up and running, we will send a link. But we would also encourage you to contribute what you can to the Kentucky Red Cross.
DONATE ONLINE HERE
Make an online donation at the American Red Cross. Text REDCROSS to 90999 to give $10 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief. To donate by phone via credit card or to ask questions about donating money to the Red Cross, please call 1-800-HELP NOW (1-800-435-7669). WFPL has also published a comprehensive list with additional avenues to contribute.
Right now, I know we all want to help, but donations are really the best way as of now. They are asking that volunteers, etc. do not travel to the area as FEMA, Emergency Management, and other experts are there.
We will be working over the next few days on the next phase of the recovery effort and how we as chambers can help. We’ll keep you all posted.
