London Community To Honor Memory Of Fallen City Police Officers Medlock And Hurley

FRANKFORT, KY (July 14, 2023) – Senator Brandon Storm, R-London, will participate in a bridge naming ceremony Friday. He will be joined by families, friends and colleagues of fallen London Police Department officers Travis Hurley and Logan Medlock as well as local officials.

Where:  London-Laurel County Farmer’s Market

   Located on the corner of Dixie Street and Main Street in London

Additional Information: Officer Hurley, a 21-year veteran of the London Police Department passed away in January 2022. Officer Medlock, who had a promising career in front of him as he strived to follow in his father’s footsteps, was tragically killed in the line of duty in October 2022 when an impaired driver collided with his police cruiser. The dedications will honor their memories for generations to come. The dedications come as a result of legislative resolutions championed by Storm.
