CASA of Clay-Knox-Laurel Counties is a non-profit that has been established to assist the court system with neglected children. The program is governed by a board of directors who oversees an executive director. The director will work on recruiting volunteers and maintaining daily functions of the program. Volunteers receive extensive training and then are appointed by the court to advocate for the best interest of children who have come to the Clay, Laurel and Knox court system as a result of dependency, abuse, or neglect.
Come-Unity Cooperative Care is a nonprofit Christian organization providing basic need services to low-income Laurel County residents.

The Laurel Co. D&I Council is a chapter of the Nonprofit organization, Unity Allies. The purpose is to educate, promote, and help implement diversity and inclusion in everyday lives. Community theater with the mission of providing educational and entertaining theatrical productions for all.
