Multi-Agency Resource Center Now Open at Laurel County Public Library
If you’ve suffered damage or loss in the tornadoes and storms that struck Kentucky on May 16th, a Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) is now open at the Laurel County Public Library, 120 College Park Drive in London, to help survivors take their first steps toward recovering.
Representatives from FEMA and Kentucky Emergency Management and other partner agencies are available in our auditorium to help with FEMA applications, home damage assessments, shelter, transportation needs, and more.
Help is also available for replacing documents such as birth certificates and Social Security cards. Such documents will be essential, should you become eligible for federal help through FEMA.
If you’ve been affected, please visit the library for in-person assistance. The center is open Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 7 PM and Sundays from 1 PM to 7 PM.
Support is also available by calling the disaster assistance hotline or visiting http://www.tinyurl.com/kydisaster.
