SEKRI Accepting Donations for Flood Relief

As most are aware, several Eastern Kentucky counties have been impacted by devastating floods and severe weather system beginning July 26, 2022. Many have already begun to pitch in, but these communities have a long road ahead to rebuild. Therefore, SEKRI has established the Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief Fund to directly aid and assist these communities during their time of need.

Here are three ways you can contribute:

1. Direct donations can be made at https://givebutter.com/EKYFloodRelief or text “FLOOD” to 53-555.
2. Purchase items from our Amazon list that will be shipped to the DC and transported to several EKY counties. https://a.co/2t5L01w
3. Drop boxes are located at all plants for items such as:

• Canned food/nonperishable foods (preferably pop top lids)
• Cleaning supplies and solutions
• Drinking water
• Toiletries
